Problem is People in north of India think they are greatest they feel South Indians are inferior to them, But if you really see Most of the educated class are in south india, most of the IT companies are in south India, its most peacefull, film industry in south is more organised, there is no extortion rackets or underworld threat. Even the media gives South India step motherly treatment. I hope this will change, mindset of North India should change in their perception. Let India be one.

Well this comparison between Bollywood actors and Rajinikant is not proper.If Rajni's film is getting 50 plus crores thats because most of Tamilians watch Rajni's movies a minimum of 5-6 times.There are frequent records being created by Rajni's fans of watching a movie. Again ,if people watch it so many times,it is not an indication of the quality of the movie.Its just pure fanatism.If his movies run on quality then hardly few movies would run for 100 days.

people r not mad to see the film 5-6 times by paying 100 for a ticket.only who had seen rajni's film from the beginning of his career can know this reason.when he is in the screen he mesmerises u.

Hope Bollywood, which long back forgot to make ggod movies learn some lessons from South.All bollywood movies (craps) are being made to cater to the tastes of all NRI's.(that Y we see some Punjabi songs and Sardarji dancing in all songs ).I really wonder when will bollywood start making movies for Indians...? than for Non Reliable Indians (NRIs)

Rajnikant is one of the most successful actors in India. and after reading this article, it means most successful actor in India in financial terms.. I have seen scores of his movies since his black & white movies in character roles, negative roles and small roles.. and of course, i have seen almost all his movies since Dalapati.. I have always enjoyed watching his movies.. most entertaining.. I remember seeing on of his movie in which he flies in air and redirects the bullets on him back to the villans.. the reason for mentioning this is that whatever he does is being remembered by the audience... many other actors might have done the same stunts and almost same dramas but we least remember them.. the important issue here is charisma.. he was a bus conductor before he came to films.. but once he got rich and famous he didnt let that go to his head and behaved as erratic as Simbu (little super star) etc... hats off to the great south indian Idol. He has earned whatever he is enjoying now..

I dont understand why all (most of them) south indians r cursing the Khans and Amitabh Bhacchan. No doubt Rajani is a super hero. But the real problem is how many people other than south indian (which might constitute 30% of the Indian Population) know him or have watched his movies .. If we go to the rural north, east,west, centarl india people might not have even heard of him .... Amitabh Bacchan is known all over the world. SRK is the biggest star out of india. These people might not charge as Rajnikanth does but still they r superstars !! and superhero .... U dont have to malign somebody to make the other one look better !!!

well.., even with this little known face in india, he is the don in the revenue with his film., whereas with amitabh known everwhere he cant attract people for his movies., just a know face , thats all.. coming to the attraction , for bringing the people to theater, the fire lies with rajini.. he has fans in japan,bulgaria,china,australia... u know the japan technicians has appealed him for the rights for the style of him to be used in their movies... all these are the reason for his high salary, not the only tamilians watching 5 or 6 times the movies....

Dear Amit, We are not bothered who care's him, Its proven that Rajini is very highly paid then Then the Amitab, Khan's who is known in rural north, east,west, centarl india. Its not possible for them to reach Rajini's peak salary, that is why Amithab doing movies and adds for all tom diken's.

Can anyone see a "Jackie Chan Movie" with say Will Smith playing instd of Jackie? Similar is the case with Rajni movies.
