Mumbai: She's the item girl that you cannot ignore try whatever you want and Rakhi Sawant is back in the news. This time she is crying foul about a dance show she lost in on Star TV.

However, the case in question seems like one of a sore loser. It’s now upto the law officers to decide whether Rakhi and her partner Abhishek Awasthi's allegations about the channel’s counting procedure for the popular dance show Nach Baliye grand finale were rigged or genuine.

Three days after losing the reality show contest, the duo approached the Oshiwara Police to file a formal complaint against the channel.

Rakhi and Abhishek lost out to the other popular dance jodi Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh who won a car and Rs 25 lakh on the reality show.

Now, Rakhi being her usual boisterous self is screaming foul play on part of the channel through SMS vote tampering and software manipulation among others.

“I want Mumbai Police to be my Santa this year,” Rakhi said. While boyfriend-in-tow Abhishek added that “an investigation should be ordered into the matter.”

So a publicity stunt yet again or a genuine complaint? The jury's still out on this one.
