New Delhi: While the Oscars honour the best in Hollywood, there is an equally interesting awards night that honours the worst of Hollywood. The popular Razzies – or the Golden Raspberry awards – announced their annual list of films and performances Hollywood could have done without.

The nominations for 2007's worst were announced in Los Angeles on Monday. Leading Hollywood's list of shame was Lindsay Lohan starrer I Know Who Killed Me with nine nominations in seven categories including worst actress, worst director and worst excuse for a horror movie.

I Know Who Killed Me is also known as ‘I know Who Killed Lindsay Lohan's Career’,” said Razzies founder John Wilson.

Eddie Murphy set a new record of sorts, with five nominations in a single year for his film Norbit.

“Then we have an Eddie Murphy movie that doesn't just have Eddie Murphy in it. It has Eddie Murphy Norbit, in which he plays three characters which were so obnoxious, each of them have their own nomination this year. He has set a new record,” said Wilson.

Other big names in the list for the worst performers include Adam Sandler, Nicholas Cage and Jim Carrey among the actors and Jessica Alba, Elisha Cuthbert and Diane Keaton among the actresses.

The 28th Annual Razzies will be announced on February 23, just a day before the Annual Academy Awards.

Luckily, the people behind Hollywood's awards for the Worst don't think the ongoing Writers strike will affect them.

“We're used to not having the stars show up. We're the only ones this is not an issue for. They never show up. They never say thank you. They don't mention their mums, what can we do?” Wilson asked.
