Wow Fantastic...this too at a time when food situation is grim all over the world. What clarification / justification does our Agricultural / Finance and Commerce Minister have. Oh sorry our Agricultural/Cricket Minister is busy with T20 matches..which is very important for the country and the poor people below povertyline. He and his damn rich BCCI has to take care of the players (who all are BPL) & the Cheerleaders - who have come from all over the world. Shame on the Congress Govt. - what justification does the eternal Madamji and her Yuvpurush have to say. Oh GOD pls save INDIA.

Who gives a damn. Mr Sharad pawar is very busy with IPL, so he has no time to look at the quality of wheat. And anyways he got his cut/commission (millions of dollars) to import this discarded wheat from Australia. So as usuall, its the poor who suffer. Hail India

Corruption at its best !!!!
India Government has wasted RS. 11.55 Billion ( $ 0.5 Bn). This was hard-earned money of tax-payer. On one side they are increasing service taxes taking more and more money out of pockets of common man and other side burring this money in form of purchasing Wheat which is not fit for animals also. Now, at the time of so high inflation and we are on the verge to rise oil prices , such an irresponsible doin by Govt. is very serious. I thinks Supreme Court should take suo-motto decesion and take strict action against Leaders and Bureaocrats involved in the purchase who got their pockets filled for going into this deal.

It appears to be a curse for all Indians that Govt. (no matter whether Central/State) means mostly mis-or ill-handling of any public related issue.

The wheat should be diverted to Parliament to be used for feeding politicians there.
( Posted: Tuesday , May 13, 2008 at 12:55 )
Good idea my friend. May be we should feed all the wheat to all the MP's and MLA's. It will surely be enough for all of them this life. ha ha ha..
