ravi The growth Reliance has done necessisitated these things. Government policies restricted people from setting up industry. What would a company aspiring to match the world best do ? And why single out Reliance ? Is the common man not corrupt ? Dont we all pay bribes ? Are the people accepting bribes not equally guilty ? Is the entire setup not corrupt ? Most of the other big business houses of the past have become irrelevant in todays scenario only Reliance has susrvived. Tata, Birla and other companies that have grown now have done so after the economic envoronment in the country has changed. Any one can do it....Reliance survived inspite of the horrendous licence raj unlike TATA/Birlas is really the difference between Reliance and TATAs....Stop cribbing about it. Had it not been Reliance maybe you would not have had that funky mobile in your hands and if you did would be paying Rs 20 per call....

knowsnotmuch This is the ugly face of "Aggressive India" in Business.
We want companies to be successful - but not like this - give us more of TATA and less of Reliance. Its astonishing how Reliance has "corporatized" greed and has often been lauded for it.

skkapur Corruption thy name is RELIANCE, ever since inception this company has indulged in corruption to climb the stairs of success, from L.N.Mishra to all current Finance ministers & all the PMs have been getting Dictats from them, Our Ministers have even lost the grace of "not meeting the private people code" while they are holding seats of power, it gives bad signals to all & sundry when they honour or participate on the same Dais with these corrupt Businessman, it discourages the honest Govt. employee to take any action against them. But in India people rise & fall becuase of these virues and not on the basis of their hard work. That's the naked truth.

Sachin Purohit On the release of the movie - Corporate, FICCI came up with a statement that criticized the movie for coming up with something that projected Indian Corporate sector in wrong light. I think Madhur Bhandarkar stands vindicated by this incident. Corporate Espionage is a reality. Companies do indulge in stealing valueable information from rival companies by means that are not so ethical. It is probably not just about Reliance. Of course, I am no great admirer of this scamster of a company. But in this case, we have probably just touched the surface of an entire business of Corporate Espionage. Ethical or unethical, it is a part of this game.

Corporate ethics Never in the history of Reliance, have the people seen them as a responsible transparent corporate house. They will try any means to achieve their goal. They have always taken even the government to ransome.People with money power, they can do any thing in our country.

more Saran VSNL is not in a position to threat its employees by VRS.It has extended an option thts all. It was govt company then it became private under TATA's . The rearchitecting the company would take different course. It is the employee who've violated the code of conduct ðics.

RIL&VSNL are two majors apart from infrastructure & investment they have only one difference that is their skilled human resource.

Its a game of human resource.
