Vinod Totally wrong. But I can understand your limitation. How can a channel running the competition Dard-e-disco say somthing negative about the movie? Saawariya is faaar better than OSO. OSO is a total mixture of variuos movies from different language. Either you dont have knowledge of Indian cinema like the way you know about Hollywood or your hand are tied.

Bhavana I usually agree with Mr. Masand but not on this one! This movie is far better than OSO in all aspects. Lyrical an poetic! Good work from Ranbir and Sonam.

Romit Guys, I had watched this movie yesterday. This movie is totally wastage of time & money. Even for 1 hour I was sleep :-). So much dark & blue lights.

I think this time Sanjay don't has enough money to make it natural.

Rathin Just one out of five is very harsh on Saawariya , I will give it 2 or 2.5 out of five.Definitely Saawariya did not come up with the hyped expectation . SLB have done some mistake in crafting the overall structure of the movie. It was unbearably boring to watch the character by Zohra Seghal. The blue/dark background throughout the movie may look artfull for some , but for common people like us it will prove too much. Sometimes in between the movie felt boring.Anyway I dont think I wasted my money.Go & watch a love story in a fancy land , listen the melodious songs and watch the two newcomers performance , especially Ranbeer impressed me very much.Though I would have preferred to watch OSO instead on the Diwali night to bring cheer in the life.

am Rajeev is hardly honest considering he and his CNN-ibn have a deal to promote their OSO. You could see he snickering laughter as he pummelled into Saawariya.

sajith I have always believed that no critic can give an unbiased opinion. and rajeev you are not an exeption. Each person reacts to a movie differently. If you think only those movies u like are the only good ones, it doesnt in anyway give you the right to thrash a film on live television. U dont lose your money for watching these movies because the channel is paying for it. you are a bad reviewer and HELL with your review.

jitendra Masand,
I don't know you were in good mood while reviewing this movie, Did you have any fight at home with your wife or girl friend. You simply ingnored the artistic nature of this film. This movie is far better then the masala movie that currently rules the hindi film industry. The music is fabulous , The two new actors do complete justice to their characters, the storyline is refreshing in todays life.
A must watch movie for all who love actors playing their characters in the films.

pearl The review posted by Rajeev is not fair as movie is a good in terms of Story line, soothing songs and sets. Of course newcomer Ranbir has done a good job. There are negative points too ...like its little dragging in first half. But after all its a story happening in four nights. I found the story line believable...unlike other super natural stories. The sad thing is Indian audience are not matured enough to accept sad ending movies.

dr debasish das i wonder how you managed to give saawariya 1 and OSO 3!IF saawariya is taken as a film with no logic,no story-line,no drama but only with just wonderful sets and lovely music;then sir,OSO lacks even these things. we just watch a six pack jocker in the whole film.the acting ability of SRK seems to be just wasted here. but saawariya is a lot better treat in this diwali. may not yours, but it has touched my heart.

NV Clear case of Verbal Vomitting due excessive dose of SRK.
