Why are we shocked. This is what is to be expected if our so called "secular" politicians dont stop their minority appeasement tactics. I am also sure that when such organisations make these kind of noises you will not see any response from any politician except for the so called "communal" parties like BJP. Secularism in our country means only one thing and we all know what that is.

There's sufficient legal and Constitutional grounds to charge the AIMPB with terrorism and ban it! Their actions are many orders of magnitude more serious than the Rushdie fatwa incident.

I have never seen such a powerful home ministry...Wow, he is controlling Naxals, controlling insurgence in Assam , Acting well with Nandhigram.. Its great to have such a home minstry who is powerful..
Well, The above points were my imaginations..Coming to this article, I am worried about the current status of democracy, i dont know how the Political elite are keeping there mouth shut with these life threatening comments from some leader.
IS this what expected out of democracy? shameful..Another shameful part is the hopeless Home ministry..only Krishna, Allah ,or Jesus can help the poor indians

Real India
First of all, from where this maulana got 5 lakhs? From S. Arabia, from his lords of dark and desert? Tasleema is no more muslim because she has refused to accept muhammad a prophet. Instaed of banning Tasleema, India should think anout Finnish law makers who demand that quran should be banned and practice of islam should be made a punishable offence by law. Quran and muhammad has no place in civilized world. Tasleema should be awarded with Bharat Ratna for her courage to speak the truth.

IMHO there is just one good solution for everyone demanding head of Taslima Nasreen: force them to read all her crappy books. No, seriously.

India is a country which should provide freedom of expression to one and all...whether a director is going to make a movie like water, or writer like taslima or movie like Da vinci code or any form of expression which people wanna follow should not be curbed...let the fundamentalist elements find any other country for spreading their ideologies....I hope government will not bend for such requests...and establish its position independent of any community..and rightfully government should ban the organization making irresponsible and dangerous stmts..

I am amazed that a group of people make statement about beheading a person and nothing is done about it. For god's sake, imprison these people and ban such radical organisation. There is not place for terrorism in this world. Is this democracy? Is it what religion teaches?
