After the successful launch of Akshay Kumar’s Khatron Ke Khiladi, Colors is all set to launch yet another show - Sajid's Superstars hosted by Sajid Khan. And this one is needless to say all about Bollywood. CNN-IBN’s Rohit Khilnani spoke to Sajid and asked him what to expect from his show.
CNN-IBN: Sajid Khan, who is known to make fun of almost everyone he knows, is all set with a new show called Sajid’s Superstars. What is the show about and why is it called Sajid’s Superstars?>
Sajid Khan: In a country of 100 crore people there are a handful of them who get mobbed, who don’t have time when they are busy shooting and who are loved by everybody. So these people are truly superstars and my show is about them.
CNN-IBN: There is a promotional video of the show with girls all over you. What is that about?
Sajid Khan: No that is just a promo. It is not part of the show. The promo is just telling people what the show is all about. In fact that is not even the set. The set is much larger and very expensive, if I may say so.
CNN-IBN: Ritesh Deshmukh apparently got upset in the show. What happened?
Sajid Khan: Yes, he did get upset because off late in the papers it was written that Ritesh is not seen with women nowadays and he is most of the time in coffee shops with guys, especially me. So is Ritesh gay? I asked him that and he got very upset.
CNN-IBN: Does Sajid Khan think Ritesh is gay?
Sajid Khan: No, he is not gay.
