NATIONAL WHODUNNIT: The nation is hooked on to Arushi Talwar's murder probe.
Anand, Gujarat: The nationwide interest on the murder of Noida girl Arushi Talwar has led to a school in Gujarat's Anand city shielding its students.
The J P Thakkar Higher Secondary School is counseling its students and telling them not to pay attention to the gossip about the murder. But not paying heed to gossip is difficult. "After the vacations, we usually discussed how we spent the holidays but not this time. All that the students are talking about is the Aarushi case," says Nikita Desai, a Class XII student of the school.
Sangeeta Patel, another Class XII student, says she would like to forget about the murder but it invariably turns up in conversation.
That’s why the school is asking its students not to pay attention to idle chatter about the murder. "We have begun counseling for students, asking them to forget the case and get on with studies," says school principal Roma Sood.
