Mumbai: At a special screening of his latest film Kismat Konnection on Thursday, it was Shahid Kapur’s day out with his female fans.

The actor arrived amidst wild cheers at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai. While the crowd mostly college girls went gaga over him, the shy guy off screen was just overwhelmed with the response.

The crowd went berserk as they screamed, “Shahid we love you.” The chocolate boy of Bollywood looked mighty pleased. He couldn’t suppress his excitement and said “I don't think you can anticipate this kind of a reaction, but I’m happy’.

When asked if he would continue to play the lover boy on screen, he said, “Absolutely I’ll continue to do love stories, but I’ll try and do other things as well, mix and match a little. Hopefully people will like that.”

And after such seeing such a response from a hoard of fans, Shahid surely is expecting a bumper opening for Kismat Konnection.
