Mumbai: The city police conducted a raid on a rave party in Juhu early on Monday morning and arrested eight drug peddlers.
The police also detained over 230 revellers and sent them to various hospitals for confirmation tests.
Around 100 tablets of drugs like ecstasy, LSD, Charas among others have been seized.
The narcotics department of Mumbai police raided the place after getting a confirmation from their civilian informers in the party.
Among those detained is actor Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhant and an Israeli DJ.
The party was on at 72 Degrees East, a popular discotheque in the area.
The DCP in-charge of the Narcotic Cell V N Patil said the drugs were being sold in the party. “There was open distribution of narcotics going on at the party; eight peddlers and 231 revellers have been nabbed,” he confirmed.
