HOUSE THAT? Channel 4 sprung a surprise when they put Shilpa in eviction list.
London: After a peaceful week in the much-hyped Celebrity Big Brother house, the excitement is back as the show’s now-most-famous celebrity Shilpa Shetty is up for eviction from the show this week.
On Friday, Channel-4 decided to shock the housemates by announcing Shilpa – who is tipped to be a hot-favourite after the racism row – was among five other housemates who will face a public vote.
The others who could be eliminated are Cleo, Dirk, Ian, Jo. So will the Bollywood belle be able to dive her way out of eviction a second time?
The popular public opinion could give Shilpa a reason to cheer. “I think Joe is as bad as Jade and I'd say Cleo,” says a Big Brother fan, Barbara.
Said another viewer, Brian, “I probably want Jack, he's a bit of a dweeb and I want Jo (out).”
But there are also some who do want Shilpa out, but for vested interests!
“I want Shilpa to be evicted, the quicker she gets out the quicker we can fall in love,” says a Shilpa fan Naseer.
The six housemates, who will remain in the house after Friday’s eviction round, will wait with bated breath for the weekend when the public will vote one final time.
Whichever way the votes swing, Shilpa will certainly be a busy bee when she comes out from the house, with a host of TV and even film offers to choose from.
After Friday’s double eviction, voting will begin to name the 2007 winner of the show.
The housemate with the highest number of votes will be crowned the winner on Sunday and this will see the end of what has been probably one of the most controversial series of the reality show.
