What these so called politicians are thinking (not only from MNS, those who want to divide the country for their political gains) ? If MNS send some MP's to parliament in future and if they get any cabinet posts, are they going to serve only for Maharashtra ? If their answer is yes, they are not eligible to be in politics. If their answer is no, they should drop this nonsense and concentrate on issues like price hikes, living conditions in Mumbai etc which will be helpful to the society and brings some confidence on them to the public.

He is one of the politicans responsible for the decline of Maharashtra. He cant raise issues of draught, farmer suicide and many other Maharashtra is facing now, and do something in that direction. He knows to survive only by provoking one section of society against another or one religious group against another.

This is a very good step. These politicians just can't shut their mouth. Why can't Indians live peacefully. North Indians, South Indians or Mumbai Indians...are all Indians. God, please give some sense to Raj Thackrey and his followers.

It seems to me that we are living in a police state, something like what Russia was earlier. If we have freedom of expression in India why can't Raj Thakre express his views? Even MF Hussein has freedom of expression so that he can depict Hindu Gods and Goddesses in nude and that is ok for the supreme court so why gag the views of Raj? I have a feeling that the Indian constitution and law are for the benefit of the few only. For most others it is a fascist and lawless society.

Mind you Mr. RCS, don't you have the slightest idea that the freedom of expression is subjected to reasonable restriction; and please do not compare hate crimes with pieces of art. The police notice shows that we are living in a welfare state(not police State), where the State does mind if anyone gives slanderous speech against any specific community in the society. And if you are talking about constitution you must know that the Art. 19 of the same constitution gives all citizens of India the right to reside and settle in any part of the Union of India. By the way issuance of notice against Mr. Raj will lead to nothing, we have been living in a lawless society and we will keep doing it. Two months have passed and the State didn't do even a damn thing which shows the will of state to hold politics above the Law.
