New Delhi: Rahul Mahajan is in the eye of a storm again. Months after the death of his father and allegations of drug abuse, his wife Shweta has now filed for divorce.

And for that matter, Court number one in Gurgaon district had a star presence as Shweta filed for divorce.

Daughter-in-law of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, Shweta gave incompatibility beyond reconciliation as the reason for separating from Rahul.

The yearlong marriage between Shweta and Rahul had been soured almost from the beginning.

A tragical twist to a 13-year-long friendship between the two was evident in the latest images of their published by a local Mumbai magazine.

“They are educated adults and they shouldn’t do something like this,” says Shweta’s aunt, Reena.

And after his murder, Rahul was expected to the beneficiary of a sympathy factor.

However, in these last two years the world of this highflying former pilot has come crashing down.

First he was busted for cocaine abuse and now his wife claims that he was abusive towards her.

Today, he doesn’t want to talk to anyone. His only hope is that his father's party will bail him out at some stage.
