New Delhi: Notorious serial killer Charles Sobhraj recently revealed plans to marry a woman 44 years younger to him.

Twenty-year-old, Nihita Biswas, an interpreter for Sobhraj’s French lawyer, says she’s unperturbed by his past or the age gap between the two of them.

“I love this 44-year gap because with age comes more maturity. I’m so obliged that he chose me to be a part of his life,” Nihita said.

She claims that even her family is supportive of her decision. As for Charles, he says it was love at first sight for him.

However, Sobhraj’s newfound alliance could spell more legal trouble for him. Sobhraj is believed to be already married to two women, which is an offence as per Nepal’s bigamy law.

His lawyer said he is married to French woman called Chantal. Apart from that, he’s rumoured to be married to an Australian woman too.

But a copy of Sobhraj's birth-cum-marriage certificate obtained by CNN-IBN clearly states that he divorced Chantal in 1974.

But all these allegations do not seem to bother Nihita.

“We don't have to talk about marriage, it is always there. We are planning for a future after his release. We know that he is going to be released soon. We are going to marry under the French law in France,” she said.

Sobhraj and Nihita plan to write a tell-all book on their love and life together.

Sobhraj is currently lodged in a Kathmandu jail where he is serving time for the murder of an American backpacker.
