New Delhi: The second South Asian Film Festival is currently on in the Capital and opened with the first Pakistani movie to be commercially released in India after 40 years — Mohabbatan Sachiyan.
Since Pakistan is the focus country in the festival this year, cross border stardom was at its peak. Top Pakistani actress, Reema Khan and Indian comic maestro, Govinda got together to promote the films and the event.
"This is the first time that Pakistani personalities have been invited to India to witness this magnificent festival," said Reema Khan.
"All artists, especially India and Pakistan are like a family. We are all together and it is a fantastic feeling," added Govinda.
And since Chi Chi was there, he couldn't help talking a bit about his 'partner', Salman Khan.
"Salman khan bahut umda insan hain, aur meri duayein aur support hamesha unke sath hai. (Salman Khan is a great man and my good wishes and support is always with him.)"
One just hopes that the festival not only entertains, but helps bring peace and prosperity to the sub-continent.
