Seoul, South Korea: A South Korean company says it has successfully cloned the world's first commercial puppy.

An American woman reportedly paid $50,000 to have her late pit bull cloned five times. He died in 2006 but now his clone is back after a South Korean company replicated the puppies last week.

The company says it hopes to commercially clone up to 300 dogs every year.

The five clones were created by Seoul-based RNL Bio in cooperation with a team of Seoul National University scientists who in 2005 created the world's first cloned dog, a male Afghan hound.
