Space organises online astronomy quiz

WAY TO SPACE: Indian scientific education company is holding nationwide online astronomy quiz.
New Delhi: ‘Space’ an Indian scientific education company is holding a nationwide online astronomy quiz. Five lucky winners will fly to Russia free - to watch the total solar eclipse on August 1.
“Of course I'm winning! I'm very confident. Maybe there are people smarter than me,” says one participant.
Space Educator Amit Tomar says, “Space believes in making astronomy popular and removing peoples superstitions that eclipses change the way you should live your life.”
So why Russia - because that's where day will turn into night for almost four minutes - the longest time anywhere on the globe.
Space organised a similar trip two years ago to Turkey. Then, as now, students will do experiments with senior scientists - to probe the mysteries of the sun.
So you have to be a student between 6th and 12th standard to participate.
And before you start packing your bags, remember the exam isn't free - you'll have to put up Rs 500 and you better hurry - April 25 is the last day for and the test is on May 10.
