Mumbai: Having spoken his mind in Delhi about the divisive politics being played out in Mumbai, it seems Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has decided to play it safe and stay away from the press meet in Mumbai for his latest Television venture — the quiz show Kya Aap Paanchwi Paas Se Tez Hain?.

However, despite the star's absence, the organisers carried on with the launch. A desi version of the popular TV series, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?, the show's licensors are thrilled with their choice of the host, despite his no-show at the Mumbai launch.

Director Bulldog, Ramit Mittal said, "Shah Rukh is the best fit in India to host a show like this."

The quiz show pitches questions from Class V to grown ups and has a mega prize of Rs 5 crore for the winner.

Head Synergy Adlabs, Siddharth Basu says, "With my experience of quizzing over the years with Kaun Banega Crorepati and Mastermind, I can tell you that often simple questions baffle people more. Besides, we will be hoping to prove that the average Indian is brighter than his counterparts the world over."

With SRK's wit, and the expertise of a successful team, going back to school with Shah Rukh looks promising for the moment.
