New Delhi: The magnanimous BCCI known for doling out crores to it's players and lately, to aspiring Olympic medal aspirants has now turned its attention to politicians and is gifting a Rs 1.5 crore cheque for fitness.

The BCCI has gifted our honourable Parliamentarians the Capital's Constitution Club close to the Parliament, which will soon have a gym called the Zero Hour.

“The facilities are going to be used commonly by all those who are members, MPs and ex-MPs,” says BJP leader, Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

It is hoped that our honourable Parliamentarians so fond of exercising their vocal chords now get down to some serious muscle flexing here at the Zero hour without the worry of a privilege notice.

A swanky gymnasium, modern spa and billiards table, all aim at shaping up our MPs. “I think now all politicians are fitness freaks,” says Vice President, BCCI, Rajeev Shukla.

“Fitness and politicians don't exactly go together. In cartoons, they are usually portrayed as being pot-bellied,” adds Rajeev Shukla.

Considering adjournments are a norm and fitness a necessity for our MPs, it is hopes that the Zero Hour has many takers.
