New Delhi: A CNN survey shows that supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton seem less and less likely to vote for Barack Obama.

It seems that In the US, the wounds of the fiercely fought Democratic primaries are yet to heal.

Many Clinton supporters actually said they might stay home in November instead of casting their ballot for Obama.

It's an indication the party has yet to rally behind the Illinois senator, though it's been four weeks after the prolonged primary race came to a close.

According to the CNN poll released on Friday, in early June, 22 per cent of Clinton supporters said they would not vote at all if Obama was the Democrat nominee.

However, now the number has increased to more than 30 per cent. And 43 per cent of registered Democrats polled still say they prefer Clinton.
