New Delhi: Myanmar's Opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi turns 63 on Thursday. She has been in detention for nearly 13 years with no sign of her being released yet. And sadly, it seems as if the Indian Government has also forersaken Suu Kyi, leaving her friends in India agitated. At the golden jubilee celebrations of Lady Sri Ram College in 2006 Manmohan Singh had promised to fulfil a dream of the college, to win the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, but UPA never lived up to the promise.
