Hyderabad: Tabu might have been missing from Hindi films after Cheeni Kum, however, she's definitely making a come back in Telugu films this weekend.

The actress will be seen baring more than just her talent in her latest release.

She is known for her acting skills, however, Tollywood has caught Tabu in a brand new avatar in Idee Sangati. Though the actress plays a middleclass homemaker, she has done a sequence, where she does a Rekha a la Utsav, right down to the itsy bitsy costume. Needless to say, the song is already a hit besides adding to the film's curiosity quotient. However, the director of Tabu's Telugu starrer admits that roping in the actress was no easy task.

"After long, after 2 successful films internationally like Namesake and Cheeni Kum, she has been very selective about the scripts and I am happy that she liked the script very much, the theme of the film and the style of the film," says Director, Idee Sangati, Chandra Siddhartha.

Idee Sangati, which hits the screens this week is a comic take on corruption, bureaucracy and other such banes of daily life and also stars Tamil heroes Abbas and Raja.
