TAMIL TIME OUT: All one has to do is log on to this site to catch up with the hottest events in the city.
Chennai: Which are the best hangouts in Chennai? What's the best place to go for good vegetarian food? Well, now Tamil film stars will guide you on how to spend your time out in Chennai through a new website launched in the city.
All one has to do is log on to the site to catch up with the hottest events, read up on tons of filmy gossip and to keep track of traffic in Chennai.
If that isn't good enough there is actress Trisha telling you where the best lounges in the city are and Vijay sharing memories of his campus life.
Now if you don't find that tempting enough catch Madhavan telling you where to find the best vegetarian food in Chennai.
“Thankfully, Chennai is a pro-vegetarian place. So there're lots of places you can go and have some good vegetarian food - Taj Coromadel being one of them, then there's this place I really like called Little Italy and this restaurant called Benjarong,” says Madhavan.
And the reccos are not all by Chennaites, actors Genelia and Namitha also tell webcrawlers what they like best about the city. “Well, here you get to see that typical Indian stuff which I'm a great fan of,” Genelia says.
While for Namitha the buck stops at “chatpata sambhar and those different chutneys. I love idlis too.”
And if you are not net savvy like actor Vikram then you could login to pump up those muscles or to catch the latest flick in town. “For me the site is to do with exercise, for cars or movies but most of the times it's movies or exercise,” he says.
So, there are more ways than one to chill out in Chennai and Namitha gets the last word on it. “Have elani and sit on the beach and enjoy the breeze blowing on your face,” she says.
