I think, we shall stop teaching history of profet altogether. Any divergent view by any scholer or otherwise (View that is not acceptable to the clergies) should create a controversy. If that is the case, stop teaching Profet in the schools and colleges. Nothing bad can happen to India if we do not learn his history. The so called fundamantilists do not understand the voices of others and they only accept only and only one version of the history and that also what they believe and not necessary what is fact. The muslim priests are groen up and educated in this fashion and we can not rectify them. So stop teaching any thing about profet in future. This will bring some peace in the university. Also those who indulged in violence under such petty things should be booked under most strictest lawas even if it means to impy law of trension and enemity to the nation. They deserve a severe punishment. Once punish them, second time they will think again. Now, what the communists say in this issue is to be seen. So called secular should back authority poenly.

I don't understand the commotion. Any one who has read anything about prophet will accept the description as a raider and businessman. In Islam it is acknowledged that Prophet was a very successful trader. During the initial years after being asked to leave Mecca, the prophet and his followers conducted raids on caravans of travelers. Allah had made it legal for prophet to do this and this is haram for anyone else. Sometimes the muslim students are ignorant of their own history and raise issues for nothing

His career, throughout his life, as a raider of trade caravans is universally accepted academically. This demonstrates tht raider is a good career leading to equal distribution of wealth. Spoils of raid including women and slaves were distributed in the most fair manner among the companions. Western values imposed on Islamic culture make people think raiders are bad. Thinking raiders are bad is an insult to the Prophet (PBUH) and his Companions (PBUT).

These anti-social elements always find a reason to disturb peace and unity of this country. All religions are to civilize people and not make them barbarians. A strict follower of a religion will not involve in any actions like this. Government should take strict action against these anti-social elements. Let's talk secularism later.

Simple logic. So called Majority community does not have even the minority co-operation, where as the so called. minority community have a majority co-operation. In any case it is wrong to criticize any faith just because you have a pen or a foul mouth. People should have respect for others religion, then only the country will develop in all spheres otherwise they will be a frog inside the well and the selfish politicians will thrive.

If you go through this report it is clearly showing the negative journalism of India. They have not posted what is the question that caused this roar or they have not given the facts on the issue. I sincerely ask all of you to search for Muhammad Prophet and find in wiki ... the following things ... Merchant and business convey a similar meaning to a comman man. "raider" is a crude version of Conqueror Raider is a little objectinable ... but there a facts linked to it that he Conquered... We shud object for the word raider... not for something else and create a issue out of nothing

Thats a good observation brother. There r many who try to comment on Prophet Muhammed(SAW) without even knowing about him. The word "raider" indeed is demeaning. Nor was he a conquerer. Yes, he fought wars for a genuine reason. He never encouraged violence. I also request my muslim brothers not to go out in streets vandalising on the slightest provocation. Prophet(SAW)never thought that.I request all my brothers and sisters to know about his life before passing a comment(be it on anyone) or else kindly avoid commenting.
