MADHURI ACTS LIKE SHE HAS LIVED IN THE USA ALL HER LIFE. MOST OF US WHO HAVE LIVED HERE FOR YRS AND YRS, INCLUDING OUR CHILDREN WHO WERE BORN AND BROUGHT UP IN THE US, LOVE VISITING INDIA, AND WE QUIETLY PUT UP WITH EVERYTHING IN INDIA. BUT SHE ACTS SO SNOOTY SNOOTY-SHE IS ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DUST, THE NOISE, THE CROWDS, HOW HER CHILDREN AND HERSELF FALL ILL WHILE IN INDIA. SHE ACTS SO IGNORANT AND SNOBBY. NO ONE REALLY CARES ABOUT HER FILMY PERSONA IN USA, WE RUN INTO HER AT THE GROCERY STORES AND WALMART. ETC. MOST OF US DONT CARE. SO THEN SHE GOES TO INDIA, ACTS IN A FILM, AND IT FLOPPED MISERABLY, SO NOW WHEN NO MOVIE OFFERS ARE FORTHCOMING, SHE IS SAYING HOW SHE CANNOT LEAVE HER FAMILY AND THAT'S WHY SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DO ANYMORE MOVIES. WHAT A HYPOCRITE AND A LIAR. WHERE WAS ALL THIS THINKIND WHEN SHE LEFT HER HUSBAND IN THE USA FOR ALMOST 1 YR WHILE MAKING AAJA NACHLE. NEXT SHE WILL USE HER FILMI PERSONA AND SHOW UP AT AAPI- BUT OF COURSE HER HUSBAND HAVING LIVED AND EDUCATED IN THE US IS PROBABLY NOT EVEN A MEMBER OF AAPI , LIKE MOST OF US ARE - ELSE BY NOW SHE WOULD BE FLAUNTING HERSELF. AS IT IS IF ANYONE HAS EVER HEARD HER SPEAK SHE COMES ACROSS AS A TOTAL BIMBO--SHE IS THE EQUIVALENT OF AN AMERICAN BLONDE-ALL LOOKS BUT NO BRAINS. IT HAS TO BE VERY FRUSTRATING FOR HER DOCTOR HUSBAND TO DEAL WITH HER TYPE OF A WOMAN. BUT THEN THAT'S HIS ISSUE IF ANY. SO MADHURI JUST STOP ACTING ALL GREAT. I AM A SPECIALIST DOCTOR'S WIFE, AND IN THE MEDICAL FIELDMYSELF, AND HAVE BEEN IN THE US FOR 30 YEARS, AND STILL VERY PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN AND LOVE AND ENJOY VISITING INDIA REGULARLY. THAT IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY HOME COUNTRY. PEOPLE LIKE MADHURI COME HERE AND DEVELOP A BIG HEAD AND START TO BOAST AND SHOW OFF, AND CANNOT HANDLE THE LACK OF ADULATION THEY HAD IN INDIA.

Musings on Madhuri's comment..."I just appreciate that fact that I don’t live here anymore. I am in the US and people still think about me."....
She talks as if she is some white american in usa. All the money & recognition that india gave her is what she is about. Otherwise who cares about her in USA. I have read articles on her whole family's USA licking comments. Indians should know whereever they are that we are what we are becos of what India made us. Otherwise no one cares. Even in USA there are very few success stories of second generation indians. A lot amongst them are living a miserable life out here, not knowing who they are.

I think her saying that she doesnt live here anymore and that people still think of her has been taken in the wrong sense. In my opinion, what she means is that the public memory is very short, its like out of sight is out of mind, and since it has been many years she left cinema and even has been out of country whether in US or anywhere , it is quite humbling that people still remember her.We should avoid such scathing remarks unnecessarily.

congrats madhuri dixit...she is the most deservin person nd this award is a bit late for her....she shld ve got this long back before sharuk nd aamir...i just loved her comeback movie aaja nachle nd wish to c her soon in the sequel of hum aapke hain koun..all the madhuri..ur the queen of bollywood nd still there is no one to beat u in this industry
