New Delhi: The cost of the high-profile Hurley-Nayar marriage is being pegged at £ 2 million, but news has it that the cost is reportedly covered by the sale of exclusive photo rights to Hello magazine.

But then, where is the couple — supermodel Elizabeth Hurley and Indian businessman Arun Nayar — spending all that moolah?

While the Nagaur Fort will host the sangeet on the March 8, the marriage ceremony itself will take place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace on the March 9, followed by a reception at the Mehrangarh Fort.

Apart from the entire Mehrangarh Fort, 347 suites of Umaid Bhavan have been booked to accomodate over 200 wedding guests.

Flowers from England and Holland and chefs from around the world have been flown in for the bash. Besides, as many as 12 helpers have been flown in to help Liz alone with her hair, make up and dress. The henna has been specially sourced from Rajasthan's Pali district.

An Australian company has been hired for audio-visual shows. Adding to the costs is the Bollywood style-video of the couple that took about a month to shoot and had a cast and production team of about 100 people.

Top it with designer wear for both the bride and the groom. While Rohit Bal is said to have designed Arun's bandhgala for the D-day, Liz will be sporting a red sari done by Donatella Versace, the general dress code is hot pink saris for the ladies and orange turbans for the men.

A pitch has been laid down at the Umaid Bhavan for a match of a different kind—cricket for the high profile guests. Elephants and white horses will be a part of the grand wedding procession. Also, a three-tier security has been arranged for the venues.

So, it comes as no surprise that the who's who are vying to be seen, heard or simply spotted at this fairytale wedding. After all, it's not everyday that you get to attend a £ 2 million wedding.
