New Delhi: There is no political family like the Gowdas. It is a private enterprise, with only one father and his two sons and this time, the Assembly elections 2008, in Karnataka, are crucial for them. They know they can't win so they know that it is best to win enough seats to force an alliance on bigger parties. They have done it with both the Congress and the BJP and they are good at the arm-twisting and the bargaining.
