FACT AND NONFICTION: Historian William Dalrymple gets prize for The Last Mughal.
Mumbai: The Crossword Book Awards for 2007 were announced on Thursday in Mumbai.
Author Amitav Ghosh, a former winner of the award, was the chief guest of the ceremony. He felicitated the winners including Namita Devidayal whose book, The Music Room bagged the popular book award, and Usha K R who walked away with the top honour in the English fiction category.
The English nonfiction award went to William Dalrymple for The Last Mughal. The winners were picked from 186 entries for three categories.
