I do not understand why BJP is specifically taken out for this which gives impression to youngsters who get carried that it is BJP or RSS song.
Well does it really matter if BJP or congress or SP do really know this song or not. Does it? I am confused at this behaviour of media.
Yeah it is shameful that a politician is not aware of this song. Singing song requires different skill sets which are different to walk outs, shouting and all that.

Indeed shameful that the three BJP MPs could not sing Vande Mataram properly on CNBC. Words were all wrong and could not deliver by rote. They should take the people seriously and not for granted. Vande Mataram, particularly the first two stanzas, is about the Motherland. More importantly it is in Sanskrit, the Mother of Indian languages and the least way of paying respect to her is through singing of Vande Mataram and there need be no religious barriers, being beyond religion.

mr. impulsive, if bjp is as bad as pakistani politics...then i have no words to describe something like congress.....CONGRESS has created differences by adding quotas which even bjp will not be able to create....they have taken us back to the time of sudras, vaishnav, brahmans and kshatriya....they have taken us back to the 19th century.....it took us 60years to come to the 21st century but an impulsive decision by congress has taken us back...now we will never came to the present....

Remember ,yo indians!BJP's existence and survival is based on religious differences in India.Its like any pakistani political party or presidents has to keep the kashmir issue burning for their own stability.Likewise, BJP asnt got any thing to dig up,hence Vande Maataram.And what a shame!They even didnt do their homework properly. This clearly shows their irrational and irrelevent and absurd patriotism, which is mirked in controversy

Why is that you think that vande mataram is related to BJP or RSS. If your mindset is to relate this song to politics relate it to congress. I feel it disgusting someone relating this Mantra, a freedom words to any party. You must be sick.
If BJP talks or not sings or not is together a different matter.
