Two security guards, S N Sarkar and Ajit Kumar, were attacked inside the Tata motors Nano plant project in Singur, inspite of police presence. A mob attacked these guards with iron rods and sickles. While Ajit has suffered severe internal injuries in his head, Sarkar's wounds were patched up at the local healthcare centre.
