India is perhaps one of the most dangerous places on earth to raise kids. There are dangers lurking at every corner once you get get out of your home besides the ones that exist within your homes due to poor construction. The list is endless and little and nothing is being done about by the civic authorities in 50 years: . Ever increasing stray dogs and other animals on the streets. . Ever increasing bad drivers on the road, making it unsafe to cross any street. . Open manholes all around. . Excrement all around. It is time to outsource these jobs to private companies and the public should demand the same in increasing numbers. India remains lawless and reckless as ever.

This has demonstrated once again that Army can do any kind of job to save and in this case a girl child. But the mute question is what is the action taken by the authorities on such cases reported earlier. Is there any standard instructions issued as to how to keep the open bore well covered. At least now all the Governmental agencies in all States should take action to prevent such incident. The guilty should be brought to book
