Most, if not all, reports of Xtian persecution & Hindu Rightwing's complicity in it, in India, are based on little facts, more kite flying. No Indian Court ever procecuted ONE SINGLE RSS/VHP/BJP activist for killing any Xtian Religious worker. Dara Singh is not a VHP worker. One Judicial Commission, constituted by Govt of India, explicitly mentioned that within months of Graham Steins murder. But that is never reported by Western Media and self-hating Indian English press.
They cooked up stories of Nun being raped in Jhabua. But it was found to be done by Xtians themselves. Still Media perpetuate these things shamelessly.
Rather Evangelicals should face justice for their support of terrorism in North_East India, where MORE people died than Kashmir. American Baptists funded that terror. They drove out Hindus, and converted 90% or more people to Xtianity! All these happened after 1947.

Indian courts will deliver justice on Guj2002. Not US courts. Main Goal of present US admin, full of fundamentalist xtians, including US president, is to further american interest in the grab of a particular definition of "religious freedom", which they call 'liberation theology'. It shows no respect for others faith, culture. It means, unless you are not following Bible in toto, you are not "liberated".
This is not religion, but pure & simple fundamentalism. A form of neo-colonialism, more dangerous than Bin-Ladenism.
This admin is mixing religion with American Foreign Policy. They stopped distribution of condoms amongst AIDS patients of Africa & elsewhere, under pressure from Fundamentalist Xtian groups due to their religious voodooism. Present admin believes Bible is supreme, and not the evolution of man. They are against science, rationality, dogmatic. They are much more religious conservative than RSS/BJP --anyday.
American should look at its own dark backyard. How blacks are treated today? Blacks were treated worse than Dogs, Cats when Hurricane hit New Orlenans. How many black presidents, Governors we seen? How many senate members are black? Or Muslims?
