New Delhi: The CBI has made its third arrest in the Noida double murder case. Rajkumar, the manservant of Talwars’ friends Durranis, has been arrested and the agency even claims its has recovered some evidences to support its case in court.
Rajkumar was arrested on the basis of a blood stained T-shirt found in his room two weeks ago.
"The T-shirt had been sent to Gujarat for examination and a forensic team there had confirmed that it contained blood stains of a human being. It has now been sent for advanced investigation to Hyderabad and Rajkumar has been arrested," CBI Joint Director Arun Kumar said.
The two intervening weeks were spent putting Rajkumar through lie detector tests, narco analysis, psycho analysis and brain mapping tests. The arrest came soon after the CBI told the court made it didn't need to question Krishna anymore. Dr Talwar's compounder was so far thought to be the main suspect.
Talwar's bail plea will be heard on June 30 and though the family is hopeful, CBI is firm: no reprieve for any suspect because investigations are still on.
Even though an important evidence has been recovered, crucial evidences like the murder weapon and the mobile phones of Arushi and Hemraj are missing.
CBI's hunt for these material evidences is on.
The agency is treading cautiously. It still don't know whose blood is it on Rajkumar's T-shirt and that's why it has been sent to Hyderabad for DNA sampling.
Who is Rajkumar?
- He is the domestic help of Dr Talwar's close friends Prafful and Anita Durrani.
- He is also believed to be good friends with Krishna and Hemraj.
- His name cropped up after the Narco analysis of Dr Talwar's compounder Krishna.
- Krishna apparently named Rajkumar as one of his accomplices in his narco test.
- The CBI has been questioning Ra Kumar consistently over the last fifteen days and has even taken him to the crime scene many times, the latest being on Friday.
- Raj Kumar's arrest is the third arrest in this case. The first two being Dr Rajesh Talwar and his compounder Krishna.
