There's a whole new line up of heroines with a negative shade.

Let's get one thing straight. This movie is all about Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh. There has been a delay of almost a year; nevertheless, the movie finally sees the light of day, and Mimoh, his moment in the sun.
First things first, can Mimoh act? Yes, he has that spark which can take him a long way provided he works as hard as his dad. He dances well, fights well and also emotes decently. JIMMY is all about Mimoh and why not. It's his launch pad. But the lad needs to take care of his bulk. He also needs proper hair grooming.
If Govinda was termed as the poor man's Mithun, will it be wise to say Mimoh is the poor man's Govinda? Why not. When Govinda stormed on the scene with ILZAM two decades ago, Mithun was the only decent dancer around. Govinda, easily took over that crown. Mimoh does well in that department. He is nimble on his feet and is in control when the beats begin. With proper guidance from his father, I'm sure Mimoh will do well for himself on screen.
Mimoh is a mechanic by day and a DJ by night. He works doubly hard because of his father's untimely death and he has to repay the loans his father had taken. He is soon diagnosed with brain tumour because of his constant giddiness and the doctor gives him a few days to live. As luck would have it, his debtors also give him three months to repay the Rs 25 lakh loan. By a twist of fate, he is approached to own up to a murder for a sum of Rs 50 lakh. He agrees. But who is the real killer?
Frankly speaking, all eyes are on Mimoh throughout. Vivana who makes her debut is a mix of Archana Puran Singh and Juhi Babbar. Can't fault her for her helplessness. The focus was Mimoh. Ditto Rahul Dev and Shakti Kapoor.
Mithun has been around for far too long not to have seen the spark in his son. All he had to do was work with the right team. He could have done wonders.

I saw Jimmy yesterday and i really enjoyed it,actually it is not what the review explains,they just give the movie a bad name,Jimmy has what every audience wants to watch right from music to action and dance which is performed so well by Mimoh and he fights so good same is dancing so similar to Michael Jackson,to be honest,Mimoh has done a fabulous job for his first film.
