Siddharth Taslima's book Lajja had nothing narrating about Hindu treatment in Bangladesh, it was protested against becuase it was blashemous in tone. I am not bothered of what she wrote, but as an Indian citizen I clearly dont want people to make chaos here or disturb peace by writing or saying things which may disturb some people. Be it Taslima (she for god's sake is not even Indian) or Raj Thakerey, authorities should curb people disturbing peace y hurting anyone with any kind of statement.

Harry It appears that Indian democracy, like Iranian democracy does not believe in freedom of speech.

Abhi Shame on Indian govt! Instead of advocating freedom of thoughts and taking a stand against fundamentalists, they are bashing Taslima.
