This is in almost all likelihood a Conjoined twin delivery. It is rare twin pregnancy where a single concieved embroyo splits into two at a relatively later stage. Usualy these twins are joined together.More often than not one of the twin is less developed that is lacking vital organs and therefore incapable of independent survival. most certainly these twins would have a lump at the back representingthe trunk of one of them. This is certainly challenging for the pediatric surgeons who will have to sacrifice one of them to restore normality. ( Posted by Yuthika on )
