I really fell sorry for those cute friends of the human being, the politicians around are only trying to fill their pockets, yes we are the superior mamals areound, but we are been created only to save other species so extend your hand to help those Dolphins, the goverment should take immediate actions and should make sure those toxic waste from the factories around the ganges should be stopped from flowing in to the pure ganges.

I think this is a good step to save GANGA.But now a days there are so many problems.Just like this we need to take steps to solve that problems also. Just like shweta all the other VIP's and their relatives should take initiative to develope our nation, and to save the resources. HATS OFF SHWETA GOOD JOB.

One of our major failures as a country is the callous neglect of our wildlife. Greedy people encroach and exploit wildlife habitats, and silent people do a further disservice by not speaking up for voiceless wildlife.
This country belongs to our wildlife as much as it does to the people.

Please Guys, Ganga is dying and all of you is talking about publicity. It's time that you indians stand up for Ganga. It's your mother. Please help her, because the indian goverment won't help her. Its not only Mother who's dying, with her a lot of people will die.

I gone through the news and admired very much for it as a gesture from an intellectual. But at my inner hearts the science and history creating some inconveneince and the great Charles Darwin smiles at me ridiculously and quizzing me and testing my knowledge related to survival of the fittest,strugle for existence and theory of evolution.In great confusion, finally I decided that I could not understand the theory of evolution. But one thing I concluded myself that all problems are fallouts of pollution namely ethical ,environmental, political, sociological,pseudoreformical etc..So it is better to stop the flames engulfing this earth from the edges but not pouring the glass of water in the middle of the gigantic flames.

its sad to see people never appreciating efforts made by others !! when a celebrity identifies with any cause why is it just that they are expected to do some work, they are there so that people (common man, poor indians, n every sad singer on this post) can find out about what is happening. How much work is goin on in villages n the rural areas i guess is not known by most of these pundita anyways. Indias contribution only counts when it is in the financial sector or in UM assembly ... where we stand in terms of environmental issues is very obvious here. There are always causes and issues which need to spoken about and one of the biggest issues that comes to the front here is how many people actually bother about ecology and pollution. I would be amazed to see if any of the people above can so much as take an initiative for the causes n do anything about it. Final word is if u cant help then be quiet n let the ones who are doing any work do it!! Dont attach unnecessary tags to their names
