more Vidhushak !! Anand .. Who ?? Chess .. is it played on a cardboard with snakes & ladders ? Any game without a stick or bat & ball is lousy .. it's all meant for couth-potatoes !! Look at the game of cricket .. one fella challenges a bowler to hit him on his head; another sledges--read abuses in his mother-tongue--as if chanting mantras, another slaps a player but like Jesus he won't show the other cheek but like a kid he weeps; men with white-coats-on are amused, laugh to themselve, separate the warring men, go on signalling to the Heavens with one hand or when tiired with both the hands .. Are these not enchanting drama like the WBF games .. then you've the cheese-cake girls with rhythmic moves .. What a great sight, man .. you're talking about some lousy games in this lovely planet ! One lives with the joys of thrill & entertainment .. Long live the inventors of T-20 !! course, we live with the thrill, entertainment ..

Karavadi Raghava Rao Unfortunately it is a fact.It seems to be the law of nature that some fields get undue importance with wealth and fame in particualar periods. In the ancient times kings and rich people used to give to poets, villages.lands, gold and money to Poets when the later told poetry sky lifting them. Before the second world war politicians enjoyed public glamour. After that Film Stars held the sway over massess. Some years back when I was in Tirumala (Tirupathi)actress B. Saroja Devi came . Narmally there will be a huge queeuto have the Darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
On that there people formed in to lines to see Saroja Devi. Now Sports People got importance along with film stars. This will remain for some time. But the craze for sports is confined only to the 'EDUCATED PEOPLE'
