Ravi It is both sensible and necessary at this juncture to pause and think a little to ponder as to why US is so desperate to seal the nuclear deal before President Bush retires. It is likely that US business lobby (GE and others) has completely infiltrated US congress men and bribed several influential figures to put enormous pressure on India to sign this deal as soon as possible. Earlier, Mr Karan Thapar had interviewed Henery Kissinger, who also expressed same opinions and concerns what Mr David Mulford said in this interview. In case the Indo-US nuclear deal becomes a reality, it wouldn't be hard to guess who the chief beneficiary of the deal would be!! Though I can't bet for Mr Karan Thapar.

Sayan Majumdar United States Ambassador to India David Mulford would go down in history as one of most pragmatic yet diplomatic foreign official and thankfully that too at a time Indo-United States strategic relations are taking a definite step in both civilian and military spheres.

Karan Thapar deserves applaud for skillfully conducting such a sensitive interview yet keeping it in a lucid tone and pace. One of the best engagements I have ever seen.

Sayan.

Abhi It's simple Mr. David. We have enemies within our country called communists.
