ravi Now atleast the opposition to the reservation should stop. The highest constitutional institutes, The Parliament and the Supreme Court have given the verdict in favor of reservation. The opponents had enough chance to argue and convince the SC in which they have failed or the SC has rejected their plea on merit of the case.

Ravi Even after the SC verdict why there is so much noise. We r in a democratic country where parliament is supreme. Even parliament's decision was not accepted by people like Karan and others. Now even SC has echoed the same view. Why the opposition is not convincing the SC on this issue.

VDS Well done Karan !!
But we need beeter and educated politicians , of course.
We need to wake up soon , if we have to stop our country to be driven by 2nd and 3rd rate pepole in every domain.
I pledge, I 'll do my part.

Naveen Well done Karan Thapar. This problem will be solved only when the young educated generation takes the leadership.

Nephel When Karan Thapar could show such good statistics and defend a very good argument, why couldn't Supreme Court understand this? Couldn't Karan do anything to stop this by arguing in front of SC Jury?

Anup Kumar Agrawal Its sad and disgusting to see our HRD minister answering to question like this... He doesn't know why is he implementing quota!!!! but still he is favouring his stance... He didn't answer even a single question properly and held parliament responsible for everything... and let me tell you one thing... its not parliament which is supreme: its the people

Anirban I think our ministers have lost the energy of taking a proper care of themselves because they have grown very old and taking this point into consideration, there is no issue of expecting any step from them who can take care of Indian politics.

Nisha It is extremely sad to know that despite being a democratic country, there is no one to hear the hues of the people and there is no justification of the acts of the government. the basic institution itself has personal motives. Forget the Education system, with such a constitution, the entire economy is at stake. this interview ripped not only the motives of the Govt but also gave a wake up call to every individual to realise the reality we are living in..Great job IBN!!!
