When will we understand that there can be nothing more meaningful than helping another human being, irrespective of its color, cast, religion, state, health, sex, and many other traits on which we differentiate..???
This is not a fight for freedom or any such reason, its pure politics, merely a show of our poor mentality.
I am happy that people like Mahatma Gandhi, and Mother Teresa are not here to witness such acts.
To be honest..no matter what..such things will keep happening..around the world and we, who feel for people who suffer, will always be help less and keep discussing like this.
I really pray to god to forgive these men who are just being ignorant and doing such horrendus act.

Worse than the Sanjay Gandhi Emergency Era. What are the paramilitaries and Police doing there. It was said that they are deployed. I would rather suggest that the whole of India rise against the so called parochial guys. Early days of India, The Iron Man of India held his head high to bring India together. I wish rather than the no backbone guys in politics, both in Center and Mumbai, somebody of Sardar Vallabhai Pates ought to be here. Or atleast somebody who can take bold decissions should come foreward.

I also endorse the view taken by most viewers that on the face of it this may look like feudal mentality and xenophobia but a closer look reveals the abysmal development level in UP & Bihar which has forced people to migrate to other states thus creating problems...the culprits..the politicians ruling these states who have grabbed wealth with both hands and have grown fat on people's blood..shame on them for cheating,depriving and looting their own people and home soil...poor people bearing the brunt of the inefficiency and corrupt mentality of their political masters...hang them.

Is this an example for " AAJ KA GUNDA RAJ ? Our Ancestors have already divided us on the basis of Religion and caste, and now the same trend with twisted name ?......Maharastrian and Non- Maharastrian.... Come on Raj Take a chill pill...why dont these politicians stop all this just for power they play with the life of the people and the only sufferers are the poor and middle class people...... I am ashamed to be an Indian. What's the use of 9% + GDP growth or Sensex cracking 22K or record forex reserves.
What have we become, we don't give dignity for the dead and now the new born.

Also shame on you IBN for just stopping with reporting the news, how about spending .0001% of the ad revenue you get on the poor soul...mate! Or atleast in the news story give details to reach the unfortunate lady for other people to help. Can some CJ take up cause?
