Karan India must brace for greater challenges in managing its Nepal policy. Prachanda's interview -- a mixture of conciliation and defiance -- is merely the tip of the iceberg. The Chinese and Americans have been far assertive players in Nepal since the fall of the monarchy. For a cogent analysis of the past, present and future of India's challenges, I would recommend all to read a new book called "The Raj Lives" by Nepali journalist Sanjay Upadhya.

indian Prachanda is falling like a ripe fruit into the waiting jaws of the Chinese dragon!Blind hate of India, mentored by the Chinks is clouding his thinking.Nepal's fate is inextricably linked with India by geography, culture and religion...even the dragon cannot wish this fact away.

Shyamal Bhattacharjee Dear Friends,
What he speaks and what would happen would be totally different. Now the Maoist of China thorugh the rebels of Nepal, would form one committee, and that would be a new terrorist force gainst India.
Very soon we will see the Naxalities menance spreading in India, with the modern CHINESE arms taking on the State Police, and the other Police forces.
Our Police willnot be able to match them because of the difference of the standards of the arms.
This Maoist force in China is going to be another scrouge for India.
Thanks
Regards
Shyamal Bhattacharjee
