viswanathan s Commissioner Sudhir Nanavati has no business to say that Harbhajan Singh has already been punished and that BCCI should give him another chance. He is supposed to give the factual things and not advise. If so it amounts that Bhajji has purchased him like IPL purchasing players. Cricket game has improved from being a gentleman's game to a gambling den the way IPL is doing and conducting 20Twenty games, while the public remains to loose, cine stars, business magnets, bookies and not to mention players themselves making huge amounts. This is very much evident from the money lost by Bhajji a whooping 3 crores. Who says India is poor country. It consists of rich business men, cricket players, politicians, poor spectators and begging hockey players.

Emmveeyem In cases such as this, there should be no leniency or relaxation as it will set very bad precedent. But the problem is people point finger at the cousin club Kolkata Knight Riders, which has spread a red carpet for Shoaib Akhtar, who has indulged in far worse mis-deamoner.

mohan Rules are made in india to made broken.why it is so diffcult to strictly follow rules & regulation. This incident is very good example to slap & then say sorry.
Commitee should set an example for other players or should made historic decision that could create history.

p_v_namjoshi Yes He should be given chance to slap some one else. This is what the justice system is whether it is in judiciary or elsewhere to give one more chance is the system. He had been previously also accused of misbehavior and hence no further chance but to expel him is the best remedy. Answer why Jadeja was seriously dealt with and why he should not.

Vidhushak !! In the BLACK Gazette of Wisden, this Episode of SLAPGATE will mark a water-shed !! While the "heroes" Bhajji & "Pakodi" will have a silver lining, others like the Umpire Saheba, Farokh Engineer & now Nanavati will have "an honourable mention or two .." And for that matter, the ever-laughing man Lajput, who'd now know when to laugh and more IMPORTANTLY, WHEN NOT TO .. !!

KPartha The only question that should bother BCCI is whether the kind of behaviour exhibited by Harbhajan can be viewed lightly or a deterrent punishment should be handed out as a signal to all players. The punishment by IPL should not cloud the issue.BCCI should make a lesson of this unruly guy.He has been an embarrassment to Indian cricket.Sreesanth should be on watch list.Nanavati's report as learnt from news reports seems wishy washy.

Balakrishna That's breaking news !!! " The Honorable agriculture minister Shri Sharad Powar has salvaged some time to read this inconsequental report from Shri S.Nanavathi but is yet to go through the grim ground situation faced by Indian farmers as he is presently tied up with the ongoing IPL and subsequent preparations of raking in the "moolah" from future cricketing gimmicks!"
