Raj Thackery should start thinking about & for the country. World is at war, there are bombs going off in other states. What the hell is he going on about changing letters and killing brothers...Get your brains together Raj, do something constructive which will also help you in the forthcoming elections. Stop playing the RACE card as other dirty politicians do!!!!!!

Hi,
There are lot of social issues to concentrate and to resolve. Sena always give importance to unnecessary issue. Name changes dosen't help anyone.

I am a Maharashtrian and I find it very funny. Shivsena is the most insecure political organization in Maharashtra now. They fear Raj Thackeray has hijacked their Marathi agenda.

The best thing to do is, Change the name again to "BOMBAY" and stress the use of it. If any one protests, they will be arrested and prosecuted.... Lets see who cries for this.

All these ppl like to wear Imported clothes, drive foreign brand Car, wear imported Sun glasses, imported wine but just for sake votes they are doing it. But does Marathi Manus really want it?????
This is the new age politics and it is so sad that Maharashtra politician are looking after such useless things. Now this is time when ppl of Maharashtra should pass the clear message to all of them in coming election.
In last five yrs Electricity cut getting more and more, so does farmer death. No agenda for the polution and population control. Every road gets build once in 2 yrs but still our so call leaders have no time to think of it.
Our loving NCP leader popularly known as "Cricket Minister" have time to go when something happens to Cricket but no time to visit farmers. Have time to make innovation, IPL, but cant think of same in Agriculture field.

Just goes to say how idle the shiv sena party workers are. Instead of constructive development work, they have all the time in the world to protest and blacken and damage private properties. One question for the Thackerays - So by changing the name from Bombay to Mumbai, How many hungry 'Maharashtrian' stomachs are we going to feed?

Apparently Sainiks are without job !! They can think of doing something worthwhile & positive .. works that make the life of Mumbaikars easy & comfortable .. they won't but indulge in these mindless, cheap tricks to get a political mileage, little realizing the harm & havoc being caused to the fair name of Bombay & its well-etched image !!
If their appeal is agreed to, there's bound to be chain reactions: the present MSE--Madras Stock Exchange--has to be re-named as the CSE--Chennai Stock Exchange--bringing into picture the CSE--Calcutta to Kolkata Stock Exchange .. WHY ALL THESE MUDDLES, THE CREATIONS OF THE WORTHLESS POLITICIANS !!
Just to recap an incident last year .. When I wanted to send a letter at a post office in the USA, bearing the CHENNAI address, the counter-lady laughingly asked me "How long this new name will last .. till another set of your politicians take over, is it ??" How do you respond to such awkward, embarasing questions ?? Then the Travel Industry bears the brunt; they put the tag or give tickets marking the origin or destination as 'CHENNAI/MAA' .. Why we confuse the poor international folks also, with this type of unwanted, irrelevant language/regional fanaticisms ??
