Ganapathy S. Durgadas	I can't see why Bodh Gaya cannot be shared by both Buddhists and Hindus. I'm a Hindu, and venerate Lord Gautama, both a sage and an avatara of Hari, and highly regard such Buddhist Mahasiddhas like Nagarjuna. It's ironic and telling that a Hindu mendicant is striving to save the Bodhi Tree from materialistic and commercial desecration.... ( Posted: Friday , May 09, 2008 at 18:20 )


Eternal Truth	I wonder why hindus are so stuck up with possessing this temple. This is a very important buddhist location and they deserve to have a full control of it. I am a born and practising hindu and I don't see any reason for not letting buddhists run their temple. There are few hindu idols which are worshipped in this temple, however there are hundreds and thousands of temples, if one temple less won't make any difference.
