I am not a Hindu extremist and detest the violence and incitement of my fellow citizens by BJP - but trouble mongers like MF Hussain should be consigned to the deepest depths of prison as well as history . I can understand freedom of speech and expression - but all the countries except for India allow it only to the extent where it is tempered by respect and restraint for sentiments of the society in general. Get rid of these anti -social elemnts who seek to hog the limelight by their controversial and hatred provoking acts.

Yes Husain must be jailed with rigorous imprisonment of at least 5 years.By the tie he will be too ld to lift the brush.

This man offended Hindus numerous times. Each time he says sorry, he goes back and does something else offensive. He needs to be jailed. Otherwise, he will NEVER learn his lesson. He is promoting riots between Hindus and Muslis. For that reason, he should be arrested.

Can the law please stop this mocking painter. I admired his works until I read about the controversial painting. Hinduism is not taken in the right spirit by everyone. It's time for a movement to bring everyone in the fold of Hinduism, not meaning conversion or violence. People need to be taught that every Hindu God represents supreme nature. People wont believe the power of nature, unless you see it in some form. Who will, if you say that lightening is powerful, it's hearsay. Your response would be `Oh, ok'. If you see it hit a tree, you would say `Oh, Ghosh! That was frightening.' Fear of power used against self protects people from going astray. So you say `God Indira' is powerful, because he causes lightening, you look at his form and pray, `I respect you, please protect us' You being to get more disciplined. It's sad not many other religion really has forms to represent nature. The bottomline is respect nature and it's ways, you will enjoy their blessing. So, the basic crime of the painter M F Husain other than hurting sentiments, is that he has disrespected nature. And that's an unpardonable crime.
