ramesh Not only this, but SEZs and Real estates in fertile lands, will reduce food prodcution, which may force us to depend on the west for our food in future.
These are a sort of LAND GRAB,and should be banned.but the government seems to be in league with anti-national elements.

Gaurav Rawat This is not a new news...this has been going on ever since the state was formed...dehradun as an idylic city had virtually metamorphosed into a urban jungle...i can only sit and look back at my wonder years there when everything was in place..dehradun was just like what we are used to read in ruskin bond stories but sadly the situation has changed....the roads are cluttered...pollution and corruption is rampant...weather is hot and i dont even want to visit the city anymore which was once so much part of my life :(

Marz Oh my god! I am devastated by this news. I studied in Mussoorie, and Dehra Dun was a big part of my life there. I would hate to see this valley change for the worst! I just pray and hope that good sense prevails and these people can set an example for the rest of India and not gobble up the land and mar the beauty of that place. It's priceless you see.
