I am really grateful to CNN-IBN for providing me the opportunity to help a poor farmer who was in distress. It really proves their proactive and constructive approach in depicting the news.It was really a great coincident that we had a young bullock 'Nandi' ready for a job. I am also grateful to all the viewers for their encouraging words.Let this appreciation be our strength so that we reach our goal of making every body happy. "Sarve pi sukhinah santu,Sarve santu niramayah. Sarve bhadrani Pashyantu,Maa kashchid dukhham aapnuyat." Meaning: Let all be happy, let all be healthy. Let all meet the good, let nobody come to grief.

Qudos to Uday Singh. You decisively proved that only act of charity is not sufficient. It is equally important to take it where it is needed. The same is true of subsidies. I hope that all Government Agencies and NGOs take home the right lesson from the "door to door" delivery you arranged for Nandi.

This is to tell you how deeply we appreciate your act of abandon. Hope this does not mean that you now pull your own plough. We are proud of you Prakash and of Jyotsna and of your brilliant children Mallika and Shriharsh. Many people may not know this. Prakash is not just another Railway employee. He is an author, a hiker, a yoga teacher, a trainer and runs a tidy outdoor training institute at Potgaon near Kalyan. I am sure your "Nandi" (an apt name for a bull) will inspire a lot of us to do our own bit to alleviate stress in our fellow human beings.

UDAY PUJAR
Kudos to Mr. Tendulkar & Mr. Singh who has done this great service by offering the help. Also congrats to Rajdeep & his entire team of CNN-IBN who has aired this plight. There r numerous challans airing plights of urban people. In fact challans hv. dedicated time slots like metro time, metro line etc but there are very few who travel to these dusty villages for coverage. Kudos to u !! Govt is doing very little for such people involved with the soil. In fact there is no propaganda. Most of the times the poor farmers are ill-informed about the schemes. There is this devil of middlemen & babudoms who mislead the farmers. The problem of farmer's suicide & migration to urban areas to do petty jobs needs to be looked thoroughly by the authorities. Foodgrain products are of primary needs & always in demand atleast in our densly populated country hence steps need to be taken to induce more cultivation.

Well done Mr Tendulkar ! We are proud of you. It's heartening to note that there's some compassion still left not only for humans but for animals as well. Is this another proof of the 'Spirit of Mumbai'?!
