venkatesan It's absolutely correct decision, he is the perfect man for the post, and if you people want him to serve again please offer him extra power and let him act on his own and let the politician try to learn to honour his opinion and views

Sanjeev no amount of rss-led drum beating will help kalam to secure the 2 nd term presidentship.rss-raj is over and hence a new president is required.kalam is the most shrewd president we ever had.he is acting like sharad power(as if he himself is not vying for the presidentship post).he is a medicre scientist.in fact he had sidelined many important and brilliant scientists in drdo.the entire achievement was a team effort and kalam did nothing special.k r narayan was the best president and so was radhakrishnan.

Jitan It is time to elect Ram Vilas Paswan or Laloo Prasad Yadav as our next President. Even Mulayam Singh will fit the bill very well.

K P Mohan But for Sonia Gandhi, who was refused prime ministership
he could still be our president for next 5 years.
But Political compulsion of the congress, which Kalam is aware of, has made himself to state that he would loike to go back to teaching.

Mr. Kalam has brought dignity to the office of the president which was earlier sullied by congress appointed dummies viz., zail singh.

Further he is an eminent person and has knowledge of the country which he has picked up in las t 4 years.
